Low Profile Parts Hopper, 2,000 lb. Capacity

The Vestil HOP-LP low-profile parts hopper is constructed of steel and equipped with fork pockets and four caster wheels. It is designed to be used in conjunction with heavy machinery or in other settings to gather and transport small parts. The fork pockets allow for the hopper to be lifted, moved, and emptied using a forklift truck (sold separately). This hopper is constructed of 10-gauge steel, which is stronger than aluminum and more resistant to fractures than cast iron. The gauge indicates the thickness of the material, with lower gauge numbers indicating thicker material.

The caster wheels are 4 inches in diameter and 2 inches wide, made of glass-filled nylon that is impact-resistant, wear-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, and capable of supporting heavy loads. Two of the wheels swivel for maneuverability and are equipped with brakes to prevent the hopper from rolling. The push handle is removable for versatility in usage. This hopper has a volume of 1/2 cubic yard and a load capacity of 2,000 lb. It weighs 365 lb. and measures 33-5/8 x 29-13/16 x 54 inches (H x W x D). The product is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.

The hopper is also equipped with a self-dumping feature for catching and transporting parts dispensed by industrial vending machines. It has a cable for manual release from the seat of a forklift truck, as well as casters and a removable handle for manual movement. Additionally, it automatically returns to a horizontal, locked position when lowered to the ground. The hopper's top lip height is 19-1/8 inches, and the removable handle has a height of 33-5/8 inches.
